Graduation Day 20/07/05

Yesterday was my graduation ceremony. Finally graduated from the uni after one and a half year of study...Lotsa of fond memories here and certainly there are many friendship forged during this period. Best buddy Melvin and me wake up so early to go school collect the academic dress so that we can take photos early at this BIG university board...Have been saying want to take photo since studying here...now ended liao...finally taken photo with this board...haha...Hmm...graduation is another ceremony to mark the end of this chapter of my life and a beginning of another...so lucky to have so many people celebrating with me...So here are some photos that I will like to share with you all...do leave some comments...

Combative Ant

Just finish watching FA cup semi-final between Manchester United vs Newcastle United. The match ended 4-1 with Man U winning... not really a fan of both team. My favourite team is Chelsea and Holland. Dun get me wrong...that i only support whoever in form team... The Chelsea team that i support is when Ruud Gullit was playing for them. As well as for Holland with Marco van Basten. Ruud Gullit really is a class act at that time... Anyway, today i saw a classy display by Man U, they are surely a class to beat if they are on top of the game but sadly they are not always now. I think Rooney is really an excellent talent, as well as Ronaldo...both are young and skillful... come to think of that i really think Man U or rather Sir Alex Ferguson have a way with dealing with temperament player...in the past he have Roy Keane, now he have Alan Smith and Wayne Rooney... I think these young players will develop into very good player that cope with their temperament jus like Roy Keane have done under Ferguson...

Saw yesterday match between Arsenal and Blackburn also...i think Blackburn deserved some credit for their gusto fight...although a bit ugly. really admired Mark Hughes as a player as well as a manager now... in recent years i have started to like Robbie Savage, maybe because for his combativeness. too bad...yst didnt see much of him...but yst bring me to one small little man name Paul Dickov. consider small in his build in the forward position. but i guess he really pack a lot of punch than a lot of big guys. he also show some guile too... beginning to like this guy...haha...i always like combative guys...coz i am one combative guy when i am play sports too...

Hmm...never know i could write something about soccer...coz i am not a person who play soccer often compare to playing with basketball. nevertheless, cheers to sports...

Baby Ant

Went and cut my hair yesterday... actually more of a trim and not much difference. But pretty ex. for the haircut though, AUD23... wow can eat three meals of fish n chips liao.

Yst also saw quite a lot of babies everywhere...went to the salon, saw one very cute one. went to the supermarket queuing to check-out was standing behind one... then there are those on the streets...haha...really a babies day also... I kind of have a soft spot for babies though. They are cute and adorable...always laughing and carefree...and they dun seem to have much worries...i always think babies is as intelligent since young...when you look into their eyes...they seem to be trying to talk to you...trying to communicate with you... haha... i guess adults are just too naive to understand babies...

It been long since i last post up my blog here. I guess it about time to post some new stuffs up, or else the site probably will be history... Kind of sick of school life already...haha... weird for me to say that huh since another 3 mths i will be out of school. Not to mention, this week low feelings have to do with me failing my managerial economics test. But bad feelings, do have it good side too. Like because of that, i went and buy a packet of 'Skittles fruits' sweet...haha...and i am eating it now while typing this blog.

Oh mind... yst is mum's birthday and she is sick on the bed... wish she get better soon...Happy Happy birthday to you:) Come to think of that she came calling me the nite before she is sick, telling me she gng to fall sick and feeling lonely... haha... as always how insensitive i was, was to tell her to take care... that leads me to thinking how can one touches a person heart and make that person warm. Hmm...sometimes i did it but i guess most of the time is unconsciously...If drawing is an art...then mastering how to care for the one you love is an art greater than drawing that a person can create.

oh well...tmr is another start of the week for school...times really flies...ok i will like to end this blog with a phrase i like when reading my economics book. "A theory must be accepted or rejected on the basis of its ability to explain and to predict correctly and not on the realism of its assumptions". It leads me to some of the old times in poly where got one period some of us gather and talk about love, relationship all this theory. Seems fun though, and also getting call guru of blar blar blar...

Terrible day... Nightmare happen to me again this morning...this time dreamt of a ghost. make me cant sleep after that. Dreamt of the ghost chasing after me and brother asking us to help her avenges her death...haha...but i am too scare of them to help...really scary!!! Not that i have not met these kind of errie things before but still a bit scare lah...dunno what they want mah...

Today finally started my jogging routine liao. Went for a jog around my estate. Can see i am becoming more unfit already. Think i run for less than 2km i am panting liao. Guess have to keep running for a week first and see how my progress. then again there is my knee problem, really hope the knee can stay in place for as long as i dun need any operation. Anyway, now i tag myself as UNFIT... better get back some fitness or else life going to be hard for me later. haha

Ohhhhhhh............ Today dun seems like a holiday to me. Nearly forget that it is a holiday until my granny reminded me. probably jus another normal day to me since i already so free. my bum was out of the bed very early today...10am...haha:) people what do you all think. people like me of course wake up time is around 1-2pm lah. met mr and ms piggy together with jokerman (hc) for breakfast at 11am. those late pay for the meals...haha...tks mr and ms piggy...then the whole day was spent building railway tracks and chopping nobles' heads off! haha...it jus those boardgames that we played...really have a fun and occupied time this afternoon. today winner for the railway tracks belongs to mr piggy... i never even sniff it...

Yesterday, went and saw 'Shall We Dance' with ms pooh bear...hehe;0 really a nice movie to watch. actually seen the jap version years back and i think both have it merits. the jap version was more on the artistic side with lotsa of humor. this hollywood remake is full of humor and heart warming scenes not to mention the fantastic dances...i can really feel the energy of the dances...there are lotsa of scenes that i like in the movie but one that strikes me is the scene when richard gere holds his wife hand and dance. the picture then focus on there hands. you can see those wrinkles on both their hands, it jus strikes me, that what i want to be doing when i am old...to be able to hold on to the hands of the woman in my life even with those wrinkles...haha... then the movie also make me want to learn ballroom dancing again. last time enrolled in a beginner course but jus dun have the courage to go for my first lesson...haha...this time must pluck up the courage to go learn...haha... Aye, pooh bear next time dun mention p. nathan as while you are eating liao, you will still remember near choke on that joke...haha

sad...my right hand is shaking now...play too much bowling the other day...then also play too much games liao. hehe...mr piggy said i am a good tester for digital camera since i have a shaky hand. if i take pictures and the digi cam still get good picture then the digi cam sure can buy ah...hmm...seems like i can be a lot of testers...haha

oh man...wake up so early today. have to meet bitchy J and M at saffron today for lunch. So long never take bus no 8 to TP liao. Wow, there a new highway on the route to TP...really changes a lot since i last go back liao. Dun really feel young anymore when entering TP...haha...maybe there lotsa of memories there as well bah. Saffron have change quite a bit...service side become bigger but decor still a bit sucks...haha. Food wise. ok lah. Mai hiam... Have a mocktail today, blue hawaii. more like blue water...haha. Kind of fun dining with J and M there... J never stop bothering the student waiteresses... really reminded us of our old poly days sia. Went and look up some of our favourite lecturers also. Found Ms Choi, haha to all my former classmates...I must really let u noe what J do to Miss Choi. We met her and J asked her for her namecard for future reference...within minutes, he actually forgotten that he was still holding to her namecard and started to fold that card right in front of her...My god... mr J u must have fail ur exec workshop... haha... Let hope she didnt notice hoh...

Today also satisfied my singing urge. with mr J, we went to tampines Kbox to sing for 5hrs. No voice now...haha...He really very blur leh...pay bills left behind his handphone on the counter and we went toilet then have to make the waiteress to chase us. Then when we left and parted our way, sms mi again to tell me the ktv call him and tell him to go back. He forgot to take his credit card on the counter. haha...Those silly things can only happen when we two are around. Still remember we also lost your uob mini when we are in australia. Lotsa of memorable memories and lotsa never never never will go again with you for travel liao... haha... joking lah...wait till i save more money we go europe backpack and self-drive lah...this time better be good to me huh...
